The 6th, 7th, and 8th generations work day in and day out to manage Homeland Farms. The Dorsey Family established their farmstead officially in 1835 and the original homestead is currently being restored. We are a family farm raising row crops, registered Simmental and Sim-Angus cattle, and the next generation. As with most family farms, we are heavily diversified. We offer freezer beef throughout the year and take reservations each month. We take great pride in providing a quality local product that is nutritious and delicious. We also manage a growing Beck’s Hybrids Dealership, servicing Madison, Bond, Macoupin, Jersey, and St Clair counties in Illinois and St Charles county in Missouri. We have been seed dealers for the Beck’s Family for over 15 years now. Seed, beef, showing our cattle, and truck pulling are the passions being pursued by the family members that live and work here. Much has changed over the last 180 plus years! We are hoping the website will keep our relatives, friends, and customers connected to Agriculture.
